Meet the Coaches from U10 GREY

Mark and Sandy

How long have you been a coach?

Sandy - I have been coaching for 3 years

Have you every played soccer before?

Mark - I played soccer in England at a young age 

What has been your most important accomplishment as a coach?

Sandy - Helping the kids that are maybe not the strongest players feel good about being on the team

What are your strengths as a coach?

Mark - I come from a decent soccer background, I've experienced a lot that I would like to pass on

Rachel and Sonya

What is your favourite thing about coaching soccer?

Rachel - seeing the girls grow as players throughout the season, and having them return the next year 

Did you play soccer as a child?

Sonya - I did play soccer as a kid and loved it, I was centre midfield

Do you coach any other teams?

Rachel - I have been a trainer for Ringette for 2 years

How long have you been a coach?

Sonya - This is my first year!

Natalie and Katie 

How long have you been a coach?  

Natalie - I have been coaching for 11 years

What are your strengths as a coach?

Natalie - being loud! it gets the kids attention 

Did you play soccer as a child?

Katie - I didn't start playing soccer until high school, and have played almost every summer since 

What has been you most important accomplishment as a coach?

Katie - giving patience to having fun over learning something new at practice after the players have been learning all day at school
